Amelia Boone
Dubbed “The Queen of Pain,” Amelia Boone is a 4x world champion and one of the most decorated obstacle racers in history. Highlights of her distinguished career include: 3x winner of the World’s Toughest Mudder, Spartan Race World Champion, and 3x Death Race Finisher. She’s amassed more than 50 podiums and 30 victories in obstacle racing and has been featured in numerous publications including Runner’s World, Women’s Running, Competitor Magazine, and Men’s Health. Amelia was also named a “Rising Star” by Outside Magazine and selected as one of the “50 Fittest Women” by Sports Illustrated. In recent years, she’s ventured onto the trails as a competitive ultrarunner, most recently tackling the infamous Barkley Marathons. Amelia juggles the demands of competing as an elite endurance athlete while still working as a full-time corporate attorney. We don’t know how she does it, but we’re happy to help fuel her adventures with our handmade nut butter! Amelia’s current favorite nut butters are Almond Ginger, Tigerwalk Espresso, and Mission Almond. Learn more about Amelia here.

Raleigh Distance Project
The Raleigh Distance Project was started by six local runners who, in seeking to fulfill their individual potential, realized that a team environment was the key to their success. Believing in the power of community to push and inspire, these incredible women founded The Raleigh Distance Project with the mission to help aspiring elite distance runners reach their goals, create enthusiasm for the sport, and increase the strength of the running community in the city they love. In addition to supporting each other and the local running community, the group also seeks to qualify for Olympic trials & world championships, earn top-ten in US championship races, and compete in World Marathon Majors.
