“One person with passion is better than forty people merely interested.” – E. M. Forster
Raleigh Provisions is the passion project of pastry chef and entrepreneur Kim Hammer. Kim has a longstanding love for small, local businesses that began more than 12 years ago when she began selling baked goods at the Carrboro Farmers’ Market. In 2014, she opened the popular downtown Raleigh dessert and cocktail bar, Bittersweet, where she featured local products like Counter Culture Coffee and Maple View Farms creamery. Seeking to further her support of local growers and makers, Kim opened Raleigh Provisions in 2017 in downtown Raleigh.
Raleigh Provisions pride themselves on exceptional hospitality, and the ability to educate their guests about “the beauty of simple, quality ingredients, the passion of small independent vendors and the joy that comes from a unique and personal gift.” They feature everything from local produce to beer, BBQ sauce, chocolates, grits, salsa, crackers, soaps, and of course, our handmade nut butters. We are so honored to be on their shelves and to partner with them to promote all of the incredible handmade goods that NC has to offer!
