Orange Marmalade with Lemons

Ingredients

Cane Sugar, Oranges, Lemons, Ginger, Pectin

It’s always sad to bid summer farewell, but this sunny Orange Marmalade with Lemons from our friends at Quince & Apple makes it a little easier. This citrus-packed preserve is perfectly balanced with the sweetness and pleasant acidity of oranges, the brightness of lemon, and a warm accent of fresh ginger. It’s a delicious way to jazz up scones and your back-to-school PB&Js. It pairs beautifully with our Peanut Pecan Butter with Wildflower Honey or our Fiji Ginger Almond Butter for toast-topping delight.

Founded by husband-and-wife Matt and Clare Stoner Fehsenfeld in 2009, Quince & Apple has remained unwavering in its commitment to making products in small batches. Each jam, preserve, and syrup is lovingly handmade in their Madison, WI kitchen, using all-natural, non-GMO ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible. They taste-test every batch to make sure it meets exacting standards and are committed to making everything in-house for optimal quality control and to provide jobs for their local community. Sound familiar? We share a lot of ideas about how food should be made and are proud to partner with them in this way.

We’re so excited to offer Quince & Apple’s Orange Marmalade with Lemons as our September featured jam, available a la carte or in our curated PB&J and AB&J pairings, while supplies last.

Peanut Pecan Butter with Wildflower Honey

Ingredients

High Oleic Peanuts, Organic Pecans, Raw Organic Wildflower Honey, Jacobsen Sea Salt

The quintessential Southern nut butter, our Peanut Pecan Butter was the first Big Spoon recipe developed by our co-founder, Mark. It instantly transported him to the moment, as a Peace Corps volunteer in Zimbabwe, that he learned to make peanut butter by hand. Our recipe still hails from that initial moment in Mark's Durham kitchen in 2010.

Our Peanut Pecan Butter combines the rich, buttery sweetness of roasted pecans with peanuts slow-roasted to a deep amber. The hints of Jacobsen sea salt and raw wildflower honey round out a flavor that our original farmers market customers often called "addictive."
