Mike Wardian is a prolific marathon and ultra-marathon runner known for breaking records. In addition to a seemingly endless list of podium finishes at marathons, half-marathons, 50k /100k and 100-mile races, Mike has set a shocking amount of world records. He holds the fastest time for 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days, fastest marathon and 50K on an indoor 200-meter track, and fastest ever time for all the Abbott World Marathon Majors consisting of the Tokyo Marathon, Boston Marathon, London Marathon, Berlin Marathon, Chicago Marathon, and New York Marathon in an average time of 2:31:09. We’re exhausted just listing these accomplishments!
When he’s not running all around the world, Mike works full-time in shipping & logistics and lives in Arlington, VA, with his wife Jennifer, sons Pierce and Grant, and their Vizslas, Bash and Rosie. Jesse is an Exercise Physiologist & Personal Trainer based in Washington, DC, who specializes in runner-specific injuries & rehab. He was introduced to our nut butters and bars by our good friend and sponsored athlete Mike Wardian, with whom he trains regularly.
He’s the guy who makes sure your body can meet the specific demands it needs to perform so you can push yourself without getting sidelined. He also provides hundreds of free tutorials on his social media to help you learn how to avoid injuries from wherever you are in the world.
Things Jesse loves: ultrarunning, gravel riding, camping, playing with his dog Phil, and eating carbs & peanut butter. We can relate!

Day of @Day1Yoga is the creator of The Day1Yoga Method. After immersing herself in Ashtanga Yoga and the Mysore method for many years, including taking multiple trips to Mysore, India, to study where the practice was born, Day came to realize that there were simply more effective and efficient ways of practicing yoga, not to mention, more fun and less dogmatic.
Day has taught all over the world and currently teaches online to be able to reach more people with immediacy.
In addition, Day is a firm believer of the powerful effects of healthy, joyful, and nutritious eating. She is thrilled to be able to work with Big Spoon Roasters and we’re equally thrilled to partner with her!
