The Big Picture (Job Summary)
Production Team Members are the magic-makers behind our nut butters and bars. You’ll be hands-on in every stage of production, from prepping ingredients and crafting batches to packing, staging, and shipping our products out into the world. Like all roles at Big Spoon Roasters, this position grows and evolves as we do because we believe in learning, flexibility, and shared success.
How You’ll Contribute (Responsibilities)
· Preparing, producing, and packaging nut butter and bar ingredients
· Roasting, milling, and mixing nuts to perfection
· Following recipes and FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
· Learning and implementing industry-leading food safety practices
· Recording daily batches and keeping inventory on point
· Tasting every batch to ensure it hits the right flavor and texture (yes, really)
· Keeping our production space sparkling clean—equipment, dishes, tables, and warehouse included
· Inspecting products and flagging any quality concerns
· Taping, labeling, adjusting, and palletizing cases
· Supporting facility cleaning and recycling efforts
· Packing product using a variety of production equipment
· Performing other related duties as assigned

· Exceptionally clean personal hygiene

· Comfort standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift
