Our Chocolate Sea Salt Almond Butter blends freshly milled, fresh-roasted heirloom Mission variety almonds with Fair Trade dark chocolate, raw Organic wildflower honey, and a touch of Jacobsen sea salt to create a toasty, luscious dark chocolate almond butter with a just-crunchy-enough texture. Not too sweet like many chocolate nut butters out there, this is the definitive dark chocolate lover's almond butter, made for warm slices of toast, tart raspberry jam, and your biggest spoon.
They might be the best-tasting almonds in the world, but Mission almonds are also nutrition powerhouses, offering vitamin E, magnesium, and 20% more protein than other almond varieties. In addition, they require less water for cultivation, making them a more environmentally sustainable choice. Unlike many almond butter makers out there, we mill our almonds with their anti-inflammatory skins intact, further boosting their antioxidants and heart-healthy fiber in our nut butters.
Do you need us to remind you of the health benefits of dark chocolate? No problem! Dark chocolate offers more anti-inflammatory compounds (antioxidants) than “superfruits” such as acai and blueberries. It is also a rich source of heart-healthy fiber, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, and selenium.
Our Organic raw wildflower honey comes from the Sunderbans National Park in Bengal, India, which also serves as a sanctuary for the region’s tigers and other wildlife. Among its many nutritional benefits, raw honey contains inflammation-fighting polyphenols, phytonutrients that boost the immune system, and natural anti-bacterial enzymes.

INGREDIENT INTEGRITY
Each ingredient we use is carefully sourced based on our strict standards for taste, sustainability, transparency, and the fair and ethical treatment of everyone involved in producing it. Most of our ingredients are Certified Organic and all are GMO-free. We work exclusively with whole, natural foods, and you won’t find gluten, soy, or anything described as a “flavor” among our ingredients. We also never use fillers or shelf stabilizers like palm oil, hydrogenated oils, or partially hydrogenated oils.
