Apple Pie Spice Granola

 

We're falling for this amazing granola recipe created with our new Limited Batch Apple Pie Spice Almond & Pecan Butter.

 
This granola is our go-to for topping bowls of fresh fruit and yogurt or as a trail snack to fuel those weekend cool-weather hikes! And, as an added benefit, the smell of it baking is better than any fall candle we can find. 

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 3 cups rolled oats 

  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds

  • 1/2 cup roughly chopped dried apples

  • 2 Tbsp ground flaxseed

  • 1 tsp Spicewalla Apple Pie Spice blend

  • Pinch sea salt

  • 1/2 cup Limited Batch Apple Pie Spice Almond & Pecan Butter

  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup melted virgin coconut oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

 

Preparation:

 

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, almonds, dried apples, flaxseed, Apple Pie Spice blend, and sea salt.

  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine coconut oil, maple syrup, Apple Pie Spice nut butter, and vanilla.

  4. Microwave for 30 seconds or until warm. Stir to combine.

  5. Pour the nut butter/coconut oil mixture over the dry ingredients and stir to coat.

  6. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
