INGREDIENTS

4 medjool dates, pitted

2 cups milk of choice

2 Tbsp Chocolate Sea Salt Almond Butter

3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tsp instant espresso (optional, but makes for a richer chocolate taste!)
PREPARATION

If your dates aren’t soft, soak them in hot water for about 10 minutes, drain, and remove.

In a blender or food processor, combine milk, cocoa powder, instant espresso, dates (softened if necessary), and Chocolate Sea Salt Almond Butter. Blend until all ingredients are combined into one cohesive, smooth liquid. It should take about a minute.

Pour the mixture into a small saucepan and heat on medium-low heat until warmed to your ideal temperature.
