Frozen Nut Butter Banana Pops

frozen nut butter banana pops

We've got a super easy dessert to cool you down this hot holiday weekend: Frozen Nut Butter Banana Pops! To make:

  1. Peel, then cut each banana in half crosswise and insert a craft or lollipop stick into each half. Line on a tray and place in the freezer until frozen, about 3 hours.
  2. Melt chocolate (we used dairy free) in saucepan over low heat, and add coconut oil. (This is guess work based on the amount you're making, but roughly 1 tbsp coconut oil for every cup of chocolate.)
  3. Pour chocolate and nut butters into individual glasses deep enough to dip banana. Dip your bananas into nut butter, then into chocolate and place back on tray. Quickly add your toppings before the chocolate shell hardens.
  4. Place back in freezer to set, roughly 30 minutes to an hour. Enjoy!

We used Chai Spice Peanut & Almond ButterHot Mamba Peanut Butter, and Espresso Nut ButterFor toppings we used crushed peanuts, coconut flakes, edible flowers, and sesame seeds!
