We’re bringing back a past favorite for our October seasonal jam, Fiddlehead Farm Salted Caramel Apple Butter! Created from gala apples (from Silver Creek and Seaman’s Orchards in Tyco, VA), brown sugar, Muddy Pond Sorghum (yep, just like in our Crunchy Sorghum PB!), lemon juice, sea salt, and just a touch of vanilla, this apple butter is a blissful autumnal delicacy, perfect for spreading on cinnamon swirl bread, atop oats, or—perhaps the choice of many Southerners—sandwiched in a homemade buttermilk biscuit. But if we’re being honest, we’re putting it on practically everything in sight.
Fiddlehead Farm is an award-winning micro-jammery and farm located on five acres, just down the road in Pittsboro, NC. Crunchy Sorghum Peanut Butter celebrates the peanut in all its deliciousness. In fact, we think it tastes like warm ballpark peanuts fresh out of the shell, with the perfect amount of sorghum to bring out the salt. To heighten the crunch in every bite, we made the base nut butter smoother than our signature coarse grind and then mixed in fresh-roasted split peanuts.
